Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe our commitments to you, and your rights and responsibilities when using our services. Please read them carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions. If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use our services.

If you are a user in countries located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom ("European User"), some special terms apply to you as mentioned below.

1. Who's Who

"You" means any individual or entity using our Services. If you use our Services on behalf of another person or entity, you represent and warrant that you're authorised to accept these Terms on that person's or entity's behalf.

PupSavvy ("we", "our", "us") is a pet care tracking application operated by PupSavvy. Throughout these Terms, we refer to our website, mobile applications, and all related features and services collectively as "Services."

2. The Service

PupSavvy is a pet event logging application available on iOS, Android, and the web. It allows you to log daily pet activities, view analytics, share data with household members, and receive AI-powered insights about your pet's routine.

These Terms govern your access to and use of PupSavvy, including our website at pupsavvy.app, our mobile applications for iOS and Android, and all related features and services.

3. Your Account

When using our Services requires an account, you agree to provide us with complete and accurate information and to keep the information current so that we can communicate with you about your account.

You're solely responsible and liable for your use of our Services and all activity under your account. You're also fully responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Don't share or misuse your access credentials, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.

If we believe your account has been compromised, we may suspend or disable it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abusive purposes.

4. Minimum Age Requirements

Our Services are not directed to children. You're not allowed to access or use our Services if you're under the age of 13 (or 16 in Europe). If you register as a user or otherwise use our Services, you represent that you're at least 13 (or 16 in Europe). You may use our Services only if you can legally form a binding contract with us. In other words, if you're under 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority where you live), you can only use our Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

5. Free & Premium Plans

Free Plan

The free tier includes core logging functionality, up to 2 pets, 2 household members, basic analytics, and CSV data export. The free tier is provided at no cost and may be used indefinitely.

Premium Plan

Premium unlocks additional features including up to 10 pets, 5 household members, full analytics, GPS tracking, AI insights, custom event types, and PDF vet reports.

Free Trial

New users may activate a one-time 30-day free trial of Premium. The trial does not require a credit card and does not auto-renew. After expiry, your account returns to the free plan — no data is deleted.

6. Fees, Payment, and Renewal

Pricing

Premium is available as a monthly (£2.99/month) or annual (£29.99/year) subscription. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the point of purchase.

Taxes

To the extent permitted by law, or unless explicitly stated otherwise, all fees do not include applicable federal, provincial, state, local or other governmental sales, value-added, goods and services, harmonised or other taxes, fees, or charges ("Taxes"). You're responsible for paying all applicable Taxes relating to your use of our Services or your purchases.

Payment Processing

• iOS: Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's standard EULA applies.
• Android: Payments are processed by Google through the Play Store. Google Play's terms of service apply.
• Web: Payments are processed by Stripe via RevenueCat. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your payment information.

Auto-Renewal

By enrolling in a subscription, you authorise us to automatically charge the then-applicable fees and Taxes for each subsequent subscription period until the subscription is cancelled. If you received a discount or subscribed during a free trial or promotion, your subscription will automatically renew for the full price at the end of the discount period. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions
• Web: Through your account or by contacting support

Fee Changes

We may change our fees at any time in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. If you don't agree with the changes, you must cancel your subscription.

Refunds

Refunds for mobile subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. For web subscriptions, contact support@pupsavvy.app within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

European Users: You have the right to withdraw from the transaction within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase without giving any reason, as long as the service has not been fully performed. For digital content, you agree that any purchase will be made available to you immediately and as a result you waive any right of withdrawal to such content. If you cancel, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we received notification of your cancellation, using the same means of payment as the original transaction.

7. Downgrade Policy

When a Premium subscription or trial expires, your account reverts to the free plan. No data is deleted. Specifically:

• Pets beyond the free limit become read-only (viewable but not loggable)
• Excess household members retain read-only access
• GPS location capture stops for new events; existing location data is preserved
• Advanced charts and map views show an upgrade prompt
• Smart Insights stop refreshing; previously generated insights remain visible

You can re-subscribe at any time to regain full access to your existing data.

8. Household Sharing

Premium status is shared across your household. When one member subscribes, all members gain premium access. If the subscribing member leaves the household, premium access for the remaining members ends (unless another member holds a subscription).

When you are a member of a household, all members can see shared pet data, event logs, and activity. Household roles (owner, member) determine administrative privileges. You can leave a household at any time.

9. AI-Powered Features

PupSavvy may offer features that incorporate artificial intelligence (AI), including Smart Insights, which analyses your pet's logged data and provides routine observations.

As between you and PupSavvy, and to the extent permitted by law, you own or have the rights to any content you input into AI features ("Input") and anything generated by the AI features ("Output").

You're responsible for your Input and the use of any Output. AI may occasionally generate Output that is inaccurate, irrelevant, or harmful. AI-generated insights are informational only and do not constitute veterinary advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.

When generating insights, anonymised event data may be sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

10. Data Import

PupSavvy may offer data import from other pet tracking apps. Imported data is processed using AI to convert it into our format. We are not responsible for data loss or inaccuracies during the import process. We recommend keeping a backup of your original data.

11. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into PupSavvy, including text, photos, and notes ("Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, and non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, adapt, and display the Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services and displaying your Content to your household members.

You're fully responsible for the Content you submit and any consequences thereof. In particular, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit the Content and that the Content does not violate any applicable laws or the rights of any third party.

12. Feedback

We love hearing from you and are always looking to improve our Services. When you share comments, ideas, or feedback with us, you agree that we're free to use them without any restriction or compensation to you.

13. Acceptable Use

You represent and warrant that your use of our Services:

• Will be in strict accordance with these Terms;
• Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
• Will not be for any unlawful purposes or in furtherance of illegal activities;
• Will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of PupSavvy or any third party;
• Will not overburden or interfere with our systems or impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
• Will not disclose the personal information of others;
• Will not interfere with, disrupt, or attack any service or network;
• Will not be used to create, distribute, or enable material that is, facilitates, or operates in conjunction with malware, spyware, adware, or other malicious programs or code;
• Will not involve reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code for the Services;
• Will not involve renting, leasing, loaning, selling, or reselling the Services or related data without our consent; and
• Will not use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.

14. Intellectual Property

These Terms don't transfer any PupSavvy or third-party intellectual property to you, and all right, title, and interest in and to such property remains solely with PupSavvy. PupSavvy and all related trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our Services are trademarks of PupSavvy. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our Services may be the trademarks of other third parties. Using our Services doesn't grant you any right or licence to reproduce or otherwise use any PupSavvy or third-party trademarks.

15. Third-Party Services

While using the Services, you may interact with services provided by third parties, including Supabase, RevenueCat, Stripe, Apple, Google, Firebase, and AI providers ("Third-Party Services"). You understand and agree that:

• Third-Party Services aren't vetted, endorsed, or controlled by PupSavvy.
• Any use of a Third-Party Service is at your own risk, and we won't be responsible or liable to you or anyone else for Third-Party Services.
• Some Third-Party Services may request or require access to your data. If you use the Third-Party Service or grant them access, the data will be handled in accordance with the third party's privacy policy and practices, which you should carefully review.
• If you have questions or concerns about how a Third-Party Service operates or need support, contact the third party directly.

16. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. Account deletion permanently removes all your personal data, pet data, event logs, and photos from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through your platform's settings before deleting your account.

17. Termination

We may terminate your access to all or any part of our Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, effective immediately, including if we believe, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms. We will have no obligation to provide a refund of any fees previously paid.

You can stop using our Services at any time, or cancel a paid subscription, subject to the Fees, Payment, and Renewal section of these Terms.

18. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided "as is." PupSavvy and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Neither PupSavvy, nor its suppliers and licensors, makes any warranty that our Services will be error-free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, our Services at your own discretion and risk.

PupSavvy provides pet routine tracking and AI-generated insights for informational purposes only. Nothing in our Services constitutes veterinary advice. You should always consult a qualified veterinarian for decisions about your pet's health.

19. Limitation of Liability

In no event will PupSavvy, or its suppliers, partners, or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of these Terms under any contract, negligence, strict liability, or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental, or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement for substitute products or services; (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iv) for any amounts that exceed the fees paid by you to PupSavvy under these Terms during the twelve (12) month period prior to the cause of action. PupSavvy shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond its reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

European Users: If we cause damage to you and you are a consumer in Europe, we limit our liability to the maximum amount permissible in your country of residence. Liability will be limited to foreseeable damages arising due to a breach of material contractual obligations typical for this type of contract. PupSavvy isn't liable for damages that result from a non-material breach of any other applicable duty of care. This limitation of liability will not apply to any statutory liability that cannot be limited, to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or our responsibility for something we have specifically promised to you.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PupSavvy, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all losses, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, claims, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of our Services, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms or any applicable law, or Content that you post.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time, for example, to reflect changes to our Services or for legal, regulatory, or security reasons. If we do this, we'll provide notice of the changes, such as by posting the amended Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date or, if the changes are material, we may notify you through our Services or by email. Any changes will apply on a going-forward basis. By continuing to use our Services after we've notified you, you agree to be bound by the new Terms. You have the right to object to any changes at any time by ceasing your use of our Services and cancelling any subscription you have.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on mandatory provisions in your country of residence.

23. Miscellaneous

These Terms (together with any other terms we provide that apply to any specific Service) constitute the entire agreement between PupSavvy and you concerning our Services. If any part of these Terms is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part is severable from these Terms and does not affect the validity or enforceability of the rest. A waiver by either party of any term or condition of these Terms or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof.

PupSavvy may assign its rights under these Terms without condition. You may only assign your rights under these Terms with our prior written consent.
